TCXO - Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator.
A TCXO is an oscillator that uses a crystal to establish its frequency and has temperature compensation elements that minimize frequency drift over temperature. A TCXO will exhibit relatively more stable accuracy, and ageing characteristics. TCXOs are widely used in telecom equipment for providing a stable source of frequencies.
